Police in Canada are working closely with representatives of the F.B.I., the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and law enforcement around the world to crack the Ashley Madison hacking case, which released information about as many as 37 million would-be cheaters online last week.
AshleyMadison.com is a dating website for married people created by a Toronto-based company, Avid Life Media.
Already lawsuits are being filed against the company and police are reporting extortion attempts against those whose names were on its customer list.
